Our Vision
To be a higher institution recognized for its contribution to the development and promotion of art and culture in education, both nationally and internationally. Establishing itself as an important center for research, training, creation, innovation, preservation, and promotion of the material and immaterial cultural heritage of America, from southern Chile to the world.
For the development of the music of the Americas
Creciente Foundation promotes innovative proposals in the field of education, contributing to the training and capacity building of professionals and technicians in music. Its annual continuing education programs respond to the needs and demands of southern Chile.
Promoting artistic activity in southern Chile
Creciente Foundation takes on an important role for and with the community, promoting constant events of high artistic quality at the national and Latin American levels, through its extensive network of support and international cooperation.
Our Mission
We are a foundation that promotes the development of the music of the Americas through various programs that seek the training, innovation, preservation, and dissemination of musical manifestations from the continent, placing them at the service of the community.
Curatorial Action Lines
Creciente Foundation defines its management plan under three curatorial action lines, which deploy a series of programs aimed at the community, safeguarding its purposes of valuing and preserving the cultural heritage, material and immaterial, of America.
Training
We value the importance of training and the educational development processes of the music of the continent in all its cultural manifestations, through various programs aimed at early childhood, children, youth, adults, and the elderly.
Research
Following the line of Latin American musicology, the research area of the Creciente Foundation focuses on cultural manifestations of America, with a special emphasis on ethnographic studies, recording, and repositories of the musical heritage of southern Chile.
Dissemination
We develop programs aimed at disseminating the musical heritage of America, its national and international circulation, and the creation of audiences.
